Gutter Repair in West Chester and Nearby Townships

Most gutter problems come down to four things: a failed seam, a loose hanger, a bad pitch or a blocked outlet. Each one is fixable if the metal and fascia are still sound.

  • Seams and corners resealed
  • Sags re-hung and re-pitched
  • Storm damage: tarping within 24 hours

Why are my gutters overflowing even when they're clean?

A clean gutter that still overflows is usually undersized, pitched wrong, or draining through too few downspouts. Water rushing off a steep roof or a valley can jump a five-inch gutter in a hard storm. The fix may be re-pitching, adding a downspout, or upgrading that run to six-inch.

Our downspout and drainage page covers how outlets are sized, and seamless installation covers upsizing a run.

Can a sagging gutter be fixed without replacing it?

Usually, yes. If the gutter itself isn't cracked or corroded and the fascia is solid, a sagging run can be re-hung on new hidden hangers and re-pitched toward its outlet. If the fascia is soft or the run is bent along its length, replacing that section is the better long-term fix.

What should I do if a storm damages my gutters or roof edge?

Make sure no one stands under a hanging gutter or limb, take photos, and send us a request through the form. We tarp exposed roof edges within 24 hours to stop water getting in. Then we inspect the gutters, fascia and roof edge and give you a written estimate for permanent repairs.

Severe thunderstorms on September 1, 2026 brought down trees and power lines across Chester County, with East Bradford among the hard-hit areas (Daily Local News, Sept. 2, 2026). Limbs landing on eaves are a common cause of crushed gutters around West Chester.
